                           SACRIFICE

While on her way to operation theatre, laid on a stretcher, not being able to move her body. From the corner of her eyes, she took one last look at her two year old son. Who seems lost and probably donot have any idea about what was going on.
The filthy cloth that her little son wore, the dirt coated cheek, the scaly little hand of her boy gave her an idea about the harsh reality her son will face if she didn't come back.

The fear of not being able to see her son again, filled her eyes with tears and her heart with stone. Little did she know that her fate would lead her to this situation.

In the operation theatre, as the doctors starts injecting anaesthesia into her, concerns of her little boy living without her started to fill her thought. But all these began to fade as her consciousnes started to drift away......

It is hard for us to think of leaving our loved ones behind isnt it? but when it comes to animal, we assume that they dont have emotions....

This is a story about a cow who is being dragged to the butcher House. As she was being dragged by her horn, her calf ran towards the butcher trying scare him with its tiny horn, but all in vain. It was an agonising two hours tug of war between the cow and the butcher, a desperate attempt by the cow to avoid getting inside the truck, to be with her little son, but eventually exhausted, gaveup, accepting the inevitable.
In those two hours her eyes filled with tears never left the sight of her calf. Tears started to roll not because of the fear of her death but because of the fear of her calf suffering the same fate as her.

All of this has happened just because you want a peice of meat on your plate, Remember, for this piece of delicacy that you enjoy, somebody has to die.

Do they really deserve this...?
...they might! afterall they have provided us with their milk throughout their life leaving their calf half fed....

SECRET IN MY FINGER
During our morning tea session in office canteen, one of my elderly friend told me that, if we can touch our index finger with our little finger then, we are believed to be able to pay back our parents, for the sacrifices that they have made.
I thought for a while and argued that its a bullshit theory made by some badass people to fool people around..
He waited for a while and said, its a perfect example, invented by some wise people to show that, its impossible to give back our parents for what they have given to us.

What he told me next, has changed my perception about my Parents forever.

He told me to think about a time, where i did a favour to my parents, it took a while for me to remember, as there aren't much that i have done for them. Finally, i could remember buying them a hat for each one, when i went on tour to Delhi.
Then, he told me to recall a moment where i have enjoyed during my schooldays and what were my parents doing at that very moment.

Almost immediately, i could remember my father profusely sweating, cutting wood in scorching sun with no hat and my mother stacking those wood pieces, while i lay inside my home, under the shade, on a comfortable sofa watching Titanic, not realising what my parents are going through outside. Suddenly, thoughts of many more similar incidences began to engulf me and  I felt soo guilty to an extent that i could literally put  my life on line for them.

That day i bought a samsung J2 mobile for my father and some cash for my mother, this has helped me subside my guilt to a certain extend, though i know that its nothing compared to what have done for me.

Finally, to all my friends like me, who have not yet realised what our parents have gone through to make..WHO WE ARE TODAY.

Now, that they have grown old, day by day they become weak and insecure. This is the time, we show them that their sacrifices have not gone in vain. And let us bring back those lost confidence and smile that they once had...

My Parents My Inspiration

A PLACE YOU MUST VISIT

I Celebrated New Year 2018 with my family at Chorten Nyinpo, one of the holy places in Punakha.

It is one hour uphill journey from kabesa town, the road was rough enough to make my car, roar like a lion for several times, but it was worth it.

On reaching Chorten Nyinpo, I saw a Magnificent Monastery above a heavenly green valley, which overwhelmed me with an unprecedented clamness, for a moment it felt like a dream.

To match Monastery's magnificent appearance, there is an interesting story behind.

The huge tree pictured above, is actually a piece of burning wood thrown from a neighbouring village called Jelegang by none other than The Divine MadMan, Lam Drukpa Kuenley.

It is said that the burning wood piece has burned all the demons who used to gather at this place.

The stupa infront of the tree was build by Lam Drukpa Kuenley himself and it is believed that anyone who come to worship this stupa will have their wish fulfilled.

Inside the monastery we were blessed to have seen a rare one feet statue of Lam Drukpa Kuenley moulded by Lam himself. It is said that, the Lam had a brief conversation with this statue as:

LAM Drukpa Kinley: " Will you be able to look after the wellbeing of all the living being after I leave"

Statue:"Yes"

LAM Drukpa Kinley: " any one who come to this place to find refuge will you be able to help them"

Statue:"Yes"

It is interesting to know that this is the only statue of Lam Drukpa Kuenley holding Dramyen(Bhutanese Guitar), rest all other statue of Lam you see any where, will be holding a bow and arrows.

Another fact that captured by attention was the 12 feet statue of Jawo, the future Budha, build by Gyelse Tenzin Rabgay.

This is my family having lunch while  coming back.
Please don't get deceived by my son's look in this pic he is actually a very good boy...Any ways had a wonderful time

My son and wife near the tree, what you see is not what you think, you saw ;)

Ps. I suggest everyone to visit this place
